Drug-Free Workplace.

The members of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Locals 570 and 518, the Tucson Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (JATC), Southern Arizona National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and all signatory contractors are committed to a workplace environment that ensures safety and encourages personal health and productivity of all employees in our industry.

Drug Free Workplace

Our mission is to lead, support, represent, and advance the electrical industry by providing a safe, healthy, and productive drug-free workplace.

The Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) acts to detect and remove abusers of alcohol and drugs from the workplace when required. It balances respect for individuals with the need to maintain a safe, productive, alcohol and drug-free working environment.

These handbooks outline the DFWP as it relates to alcohol and drug use in the workplace for both employers and employees.
