IBEW-NECA Southwestern Health and Benefit Fund Life Insurance
For active participants with health insurance coverage from the IBEW-NECA Southwestern Health and Benefit Fund (both the PPO and HMO and Sub-Plans B1 and B2), there is a life insurance benefit. (Some exclusions apply.)

Death Benefit from IBEW Pension Benefit Fund for “A” Members.
Active “A” members with at least six months of continuous good standing and owing no more than two months of dues at the time of death will be entitled to death benefits from the IBEW Pension Benefit Fund. They are as follows:
Death by Natural Causes

Retired “A” member

Local 570 Death Benefit Fund for Inside Construction “A” Members.
For active and retired “A” members in the Inside Construction Industry, there is a death benefit of $2,500, providing no more than $60.00 in death assessments is owed at the time of death.
